# Maplewood PTO | Fall General Meeting Minutes

**Attendance:** 8 members present (quorum met)
## Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 7:03 PM by President Karen Sullivan.
## Approval of Minutes
Motion to approve the August minutes moved by Jennifer Walsh, seconded by Tom Rivera.
**Vote:** Approved unanimously.
## Treasurer's Report
Treasurer Tom Mitchell reported a beginning balance of $4,820. All budget lines tracking on target for the semester.
## Fall Carnival Budget
Mike Romano presented the Fall Carnival proposal. Motion to approve a $2,000 budget moved by Mike Romano, seconded by Karen Sullivan.
**Vote:** Approved unanimously.
## Principal's Update
Principal Hassan reported enrollment is up 12% this year. The new STEM lab is on schedule to open in October.
## Open Forum
Members discussed carpooling options for the November field trip. Sunita Kapoor volunteered to coordinate.
